Afterschool Kids' Class, Starts 9/23/08
Enroll your child or tween in our instructor-lead "You Can Make It®" sewing class. In this course he or she will learn to sew and create an apron along the way. [The apron will be full length for girls, garcon style for boys.] You will:
Choose your Marimekko fabric (included in the enrollment fee)
Learn to read a pattern and take your measurements
Learn to operate a sewing machine
Layout and cut your pattern and fabric
Sew and complete your apron
This class meets for four sessions on Tuesday afternoons, 4 pm - 5 pm. The first class will be held 09/23/08. Students' supplies -- which will be covered by the instructor at the first session -- include garment scissors, a tape measure, and pin cushion.
